week 37 bump

So  we've reached week 37!  Hooray!!!!  Baby Brandon can come anytime he wants now.  I'm hoping sooner rather than later.  As you can tell by this picture the bags under my eyes are getting worse and for some reason this week my face has begun to swell up along with my fingers.  This new/unwanted pregnancy symptom comes and goes.  One minute my wedding rings are fitting and the next I'm trying to rip them off because they're cutting off my circulation.  Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about my puffy face, it's just pregnancy badge of honor I must wear until Brandon's birth day!

Oh and the cat at the bottom of the picture is not ours, it loves to come in our backyard when we're out to get attention.  She kept running between me and Paul licking and biting our feet.  I think she must have been hungry!

I'm staying home a lot more these days.  Not sure if  my "nesting" instinct has skipped and been replaced with pure exhaustion.  I don't think I've ever been so tired in my life.  This week was a rough one.  Sleep is a luxury that I now realize I'll get in maybe 1-2 years....haha, well maybe a little more after baby B is born.  Paul's been so good to me I'm sure he'll let me take some naps while he plays with Brandon.

We'll keep everyone posted on baby news on this site, our current plan is to post a blog entry letting everyone know when we head to the birthing center.  We already know we won't be rushing there because the midwife has to first come to our house to evaluate if I'm ready for the birthing center, that way we don't go to early and can spend the first couple hours of labor at home relaxing.

Paul and I are going to open a "guess when the baby comes" poll soon.  Hope you all can vote.  The prize will be bragging rights and an autographed picture of Brandon!
