My doctor warned me that second pregnancies are very very different from the first one. Boy I wish I believed her. I'm so sick and tired of these contractions that are coming on very strong and then just disappearing. Other unpleasant things I've been experiencing is waking up every hour at night for cramps, thirst, bathroom, or just being plain uncomfortable. Today I've had a headache and nausea all day. Peter is going to drag out these last 2 weeks and make me miserable. Luckily I called Paul around 11am and asked him to come home because Brandon was just to much energy for me.
Thank GOD he was home because a 1:45 we had an earthquake while Brandon and I were taking an afternoon nap. I woke up to the house shaking, it was like nothing I've ever felt, during the quake I rushed to Brandon's room and he was sound asleep. I picked him up and waited for the earthquake to stop and then we all made our way out of the house. All our neighbors were outside and we all couldn't believe what just happened. Me being a bag of emotions these days was crying and squeezing Brandon in my arms.
We survived our very first quake, the house is fine, and we are all okay. Traffic is insane from what I am watching on the news so I would be happy if Peter waited until later tonight if he wants to greet us. I'll keep you all posted on everything.
