It's been pretty warm here since Saturday.  I've been spending a lot more time downstairs because it's naturally cooler down there.  I worry that B might over heat, but it's honestly not that bad.  I think the hottest it's gotten upstairs is 85.   But because it's so hot direct breastfeeding has been put on pause while the sun is out.  Brandon doesn't seem to mind taking expressed milk from a bottle.

Project Ween Brandon from the breast is going well.  This week we are starting to give him formula ever other feeding.  So far it's going great.  He really loves the bottle now.  I can't help but laugh when he lets out his burps half way through because they sound like an adult.

Because of the heat and spending so much time downstairs we quickly got tired of running upstairs to get the bouncy chair for Brandon to sit in and then when we wanted to go back upstairs having to carry it back up.  So yesterday B and I went chair shopping and picked up a new one.  I was sad I could not get a cool Fisher Price chair with music and vibrations, but they are only good for babies up to 20lbs (B is 15lbs) so I found one chair, which I fell in love with immediately,  Baby Bjorn Babysitter balance chair.  It can be used up to 30lbs and 2 years old.  It folds up nicely so it's not always in the way and the best part is Brandon got to try it out in the store and he loved it!

I took a look at the weather report and it looks like this summer heat is here to stay for the next 2 weeks.
