Playing outside

This week it's been yucky out with all the rain and temperature dropping from last weeks heat wave but today we got to enjoy playing outside. One major difference between Peter and Brandon is that Peter loves the grass. Last year Brandon would flip out if we put him on the grass to crawl or walk. He just didn't like the texture. But Peter was all smiles you can see the picture below as a reference. Brandon is going through a major developmental stage right now. He is talking up a storm and understand more that we say and ask him to do. With this comes things that he doesn't want to do and temper tantrums rise. Today though Brandon did the cutest thing. We were getting ready to pile in the car to go to the gym when Brandon grabbed one of the car toys, a McDonalds toy binoculars and walked down the path to the back yard. He heard some birds and put the binoculars up to his eyes and then said to me "Mama I see animals" so jut to make sure I heard what i heard o repeat what he said "you see animals huh?". And Brandon answer yes by saying "dah" he is still working on the y sound. Another fun phrase he says when it's time to go into for dinner nap is "no I want to play outside" to me it sounds clear but I'm sure to others it sounds like toddler gibberish. I'm just a fluent speaker of Brandon's language
