All moved in and ready to settle

We are finally HOME!  After 5 months of  hotel and then town home we are in our new house!!!!!!!  I feel like we are adjusting so much faster than any other place we have ever been in.  But I am sure that's because we really have no move out date ever in sight.

Moving in was very smooth.  My sister, Rob, and Paul's parents come down to help.  Having 4 extra people to help move and unpack was a dream come true.  The movers packed the truck, got everything to our new place, and then the real work started of unpacking box after box.  Sunday we pretty much did the same thing, except I had a voice lesson in DC mid afternoon, which I never ended up getting to because all the roads in North West DC were shut down due to the St. Patrick's Day parade, I can not even begin to explain my frustration of driving around a city not being after to get to my destination because of road blocks at every corner.  So in the end I contacted my teacher and rescheduled for next Sunday.

It was better to be at the house anyway because we got more unpacked and organized.  Since everyone went back to New York and Paul is at work I'm finding it very hard to get things unpacked as fast as we did over the weekend.  Every second Brandon is touching something I don't want him to or speed crawling out of sight.  The faster we get everything off the floors then Brandon can have more fun in the house.  But no worries for now Brandon is having a BLAST in his new house.  He loves exploring and today we got our verizon fios installed so he can watch his Sesame Street again.  The best part of this house is how Brandon is finally napping in his room  Yes, he cries a little, but he actually falls asleep after 5-10 minutes.   It's so nice to be able to sit down and read a book or eat some lunch a lone.

Pictures will be coming up as soon as we get rid of a couple more boxes and get the paintings and window treatments up.
