Well this past week Paul and I have been surviving Brandon's latest growth spurt.  He's still a great sleeper, but twice this week he woke up during the night to catch a late night snack.  Luckily he went right back to sleep until 7 or 8.  Most baby books say the next growth spurt will not be until 6 months.  It'll be nice to have a break from feeding and nursing so frequently.

Another new thing that Brandon does is get very upset VERY fast.  For 1-2 days we couldn't figure it out. Then we realized that he was probably overstimulated from playing in his swing, tummy time, and Mommy and Daddy making him laugh and squeal.  So we now make time in the afternoon for quiet time, we darken the room and just let him relax and take a nap, rather than just letting him fall asleep while playing.

Brandon is also finally letting Daddy put him to bed again.  We still have a screaming baby around 8PM, but, we have found a fix to calm him for an extra hour.  That magical fix is the television.  He sometimes starts crying in both of our arms and doesn't even want anything.  He just wants to sit down and watch some Dora or Diego.

It looks like Brandon is almost going to sit on his own soon.  right now he'll sit on our lap or belly with his hands holding him up.  He's still wobbles from side to side, but it's so thrilling to watch him get stronger and strong by the day.
