Yesterday was a big day for Brandon he stood all on his own for a couple seconds. He didn't even realize what he was doing because he was trying to grab a balloon in the air, but both Paul and I caught these 4 seconds of time that he wasn't holding on to anything! It was so bizarre to see such a small person standing up all alone.
Ever since Brandon started crawling he has been getting into EVERYTHING! This past week I have had to change all the outlet plug covers to ones that are harder to get off the wall. The other day I caught B pulling them off the wall. Now he just loves to put his mouth all over the outlets. It drives me nuts that he won't keep his mouth and hands away from the outlets!
For Valentines Day we got Brandon a red toy Lamborghini. This is his first toy that he actually plays with and doesn't just put in his mouth all day. All the sudden he is better with playing than eating his toys. He sure knows how to make a mess now, but I try to keep it to one room at a time so we can have an easy clean up.
Speaking of clean up. Our townhouse is on the market for rent for 1 day so far and we already have 3 viewings scheduled for the next couple of days. This is excited, but at the same time I feel the need to keep the house spotless so it's more appealing to renters. I remember from viewing homes for sale or rent that the clean ones were always more appealing than the messy houses. Everyone please keep your fingers crossed that someone takes our place starting April 1st! The longer it takes to rent it out then that means we have two places to pay for.
We have only one more week until closing day on the house and we couldn't be more excited. This past week I've been having moving companies over to the house to get an estimate on the big move day. I feel confident we will find a good moving company with getting in home estimates. Our past 2 moves (international) have taught me a few things about what one needs to know when you use a moving company. We are hoping by next week we can book a weekend in March to move everything to the new house that we can not take by car.
