This morning we had our 22 week appointment. I knew going into this one it was going to be long because of the large measurement of our baby's belly at our 20 week ultrasound. The results for now just mean tests. In 4 weeks I need to go blood work done to test my blood sugar levels to see if I've developed high blood sugar. If I do have this condition it just means that our baby will grow to big and will make birth complicated, good news is that my high blood sugar is only temporary and will not effect Brandon after he is born, but for now I just have to keep a low sugar/low fat diet. I also need to have another ultrasound at 28 weeks to check on the baby to see if he is growing at the rate he should, I'm happy we get to see Brandon again!!!
We're also hoping to get a 3D ultrasound this month if there is time. But first I want to try and shake off this head cold I have. I asked our midwife if there was anything I could take, but she said no just like I thought she would.
